Scholarships for Graduating Seniors

Page McCloud is a legendary figure in Batavia High School theatre department history, having taught and directed here for more than 30 years. His hard work, his ability to pull outstanding performances from his student thespians, and his commitment to growing the theatre program into one of the best in this area laid the foundation for where you are today. His influence can still be seen in countless things in the theatre department – he began the traditions of students sending thank you notes and of senior citizen night, he got parents and students working side by side to create amazing sets. Everything Mr. McCloud did led us to being able to build the Batavia Fine Arts Centre. Without Page McCloud, none of us would be where we are today. When Page McCloud retired the first time, in the Spring of 2007, many parents got together to create the Page McCloud Scholarship Fund both to honor him and to help graduating BHS seniors who desired to continue their pursuit of theatre education beyond high school.
